The time is right for thematic education

Since entering the new era, one of the major tasks in the Party's political life has been deployed at every Party Congress -- intensive learning and education throughout the Party. 

At the 18th National Congress of the CPC, we made arrangements to carry out an in-depth campaign throughout the Party to educate and practice the Party's mass line, with the main content being practical and clean for the people. June 18, 2013, the Party's Mass Line education and practice activities work conference held.

The 19th CPC National Congress decided to carry out education throughout the Party under the theme of "staying true to our founding mission and remembering our mission". On May 31, 2019, an education conference was held under the theme of "Staying true to our original Aspiration and remembering our Mission".

 This year's conference, the earliest of the three conferences, issued a "mobilization order".

Since the beginning of the new era, in addition to the three rounds of intra-party centralized education specially planned at the Party Congress, the Party has also carried out special education on the "Three stricts and three honests" in 2015, "two studies and one action" in 2016 and "Party history" in 2021. Centralized education within the Party was carried out in succession and promoted at various levels.

The general secretary used "just the right time" in both the education work conference on the theme of "Staying true to our original aspiration and remembering our Mission" and the Party history education mobilization Conference.

For every step forward in the Party's theoretical innovation, its theoretical armament must follow suit.

We attach great importance to the overall situation

 He made clear requirements several times after the Party's 20th National Congress and before the conference on thematic education.

Last October, at the first collective study session of the Political Bureau of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the General Secretary pointed out that since the new era, the Party's theoretical and practical innovations have been very vivid, and so should our study.

In February this year, the Second Plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was held. 

During the National Two Sessions, the General Secretary said while attending the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation that we should carry out in-depth education on the theme of studying and implementing the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era, so as to provide strong political guidance and political guarantee for forging ahead on a new journey and making contributions to the new era.

Just a few days before the conference, the General Secretary presided over two important meetings on the same day, the topics of which were closely related to this conference.

In-depth elaboration of comprehensive deployment

 Since the Yan 'an Rectification Movement, our Party has carried out all the concentrated educational activities with ideological education as the first step.

For example, the Party's mass line education and practice activities clearly put forward the general requirements of "looking in the mirror, dressing properly, taking a bath, and treating diseases". The general requirement of the theme education of "Never forget the original intention and remember the mission" is to "keep the original intention, bear the mission, find the gap and implement".

This theme education is no exception. At the work conference on April 3, the general Secretary stressed that the theme education should firmly grasp the general requirements of "learning ideology, strengthening the Party spirit, emphasizing practice and building new achievements".

Practice has proved that a target is easy to achieve, without a target is difficult to achieve. In order to achieve effective results, we must find the right target and point the right points. It is very important to determine a suitable target. For example, in those years, the main task of the Party's mass line education and practice activities was to focus on the construction of the style of work and solve the problem of "four winds".

 Specifically, we should achieve the goal of consolidating the heart and casting the soul, building the foundation, tempering the character and strengthening loyalty, working hard to promote development, practicing the purpose for the benefit of the people, and establishing a new style of honesty and public service.

One of the distinctive features of the education program under the theme of "Staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission in mind" launched in 2019 is that there are no stages, no links, no fixed time points, and no simple emphasis on the sequence. The four key measures, namely, learning, education, investigation and research, review of problems, and rectification and implementation, are carried out throughout the whole process. The general secretary said this is "not lowering standards, but raising higher requirements".

In this year's theme education, the General Secretary once again stressed that there should be no stages or links, and that theoretical study, investigation and research, development promotion, inspection and rectification should be integrated in an organic way.

This thematic education has another distinctive feature. The CPC Central Committee has decided to promote investigation and research throughout the Party as an important part of subject education throughout the Party.

At the work meeting on April 3, the General Secretary stressed that, in accordance with the CPC Central Committee's work plan for promoting investigation and research throughout the Party, Party members and officials, especially leading officials at all levels, should be organized to dive down to the front line, feel the blood, examine the sparrow, and apply the Party's innovative theories to study new situations and solve new problems.

Running to the problem, staring at the problem change, is also the focus of the theme of education. Not long ago, when attending the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation, the General Secretary pointed out that thematic education should be based on reality and problem-oriented. Any weak links will be addressed in accordance with the guidance of the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

The more important historical juncture, the more to study as a top priority.

The construction of a powerful country, the new journey of national rejuvenation, more urgent need for the majority of Party members and cadres to take the theme of education as an opportunity, to learn to cast soul, to learn wisdom, to learn positive wind, to learn to promote the trunk, to forge ahead on a new journey together.
